Visa Extension
If you are going to be staying in Thailand for longer than 90 days you will need to go through the process of a visa extension at
the immigration office in person. The documents required include:
1.
Confirmation Letter Signed by the Dean (Ask the OIA.Polsci Office for this)
2.
Course Registration (login your username on the TU registrar website)
3.
Application Form TM7
4.
Photocopy of passport pages with following pages:
a.
Front page showing your full name/passport no. and other details
b.
Pages containing current visa and related informations
c.
Last entry stamp of immigration
d.
Last extension of visa (if you renew extension application)
5.
A 4x6 picture

Application fee
Kindly note that Dean will issue the confirmation letter when foreign student presents his/her photocopies of passport, current visa,
and
Visa Extension Request
as a designated form of the faculty to the OIA.Polsci Office.
90-day Notification
When it comes to staying in Thailand students are required to report yours location to the immigration office every
90 days, this process is called
“Notification of staying in the Kingdom over 90 days”
. For the first time of notification
you must go in person and submit the important documents as below.
1.
Photocopy of passport pages with following pages:
a.
Front pages showing main identification details
b.
Pages containing current visa and related informations
c.
Last entry stamp of immigration
d.
Last extension of visa
2.
Photocopy of departure card TM6 (The part that you should have stapled in your passport already)
3.
Completely filled in and signed notification form TM47
Please note that if Non-Thai Nationals staying in the kingdom over 90 days without notifying the Thai Immigration Bureau
later than the set period, a fine of 2,000 Baht will be collected. If a foreign who did not make the notification of staying over 90 days
is arrested and will be fined 4,000 Baht.
