You are able to leave the country for temporary home visits or holidays without losing your visa in Thailand. To do this you must apply for a “Re-entry Permit” . You can apply for one single trip or for a multiple re-entry; however it must be done in-person at the immigration office at least 2 weeks before your trip. The documents required including; 1. Application Form TM8 2. Photocopy of passport pages with following pages: a. Front page showing your details b. Pages containing current visa and related information c. Last entry stamp of immigration d. Last extension of visa 3.
