Application Requirements

Applicants residing in Thailand

The online application should be submitted with:
1. Photographs
2. Official transcript issued by institutions of higher
    education.
3. Statement of purpose: The statement of purpose should be
    300-350 words stating why would you like to study
    international relations and what you think the benefit of a
    master's degree would be for you.
4. English-proficiency test scores (TU-GET, TOEFL, or
    IELTS).
    Score must be submitted from a test taken within the last
    twenty-four months. Minimum requirements would be one
    of the following
          - A score of 550 (PBT) or 79 (CBT) on TU-GET
          - A score of 550 (PBT), 550 (ITP) or 79 (iBT) on TOEFL
          - A score of 6.5 on the International English Language
            Testing System (IELTS)
5. One recommendation letter: Recommender should be a
    member from your graduating faculty or work supervisor or
    other who can comment on your academic potential for
    graduate work. Letter can be submitted by your
    recommender by email (mir@tu.ac.th)

6. Bank deposit/transfer reference (500 Baht non-
    refundable application fee) Bank deposit or transfer to MIR
    Program at TMB Thanachart Bank (ttb) account no. 155-2-
    00036-4 

Applicants residing outside Thailand

The online application should be submitted with:
1. Photographs
2. Official transcript issued by institutions of higher
    education.
3. Statement of purpose: The statement of purpose should
    be 700-1,000 words describe your reasons for applying to
    the MIR Program at Thammasat University, your
    preparation for this field of study, academic and research
    interests, future career plan, and other aspects of your
    background and interests which may aid the admission
    committee in evaluating your aptitude and motivation for
    graduate study.
4. English-proficiency test scores (TU-GET, TOEFL, or
    IELTS). Score must be submitted from a test taken within
    the last twenty-four months. Minimum requirements would
    be one of the following
